Dr. Martin Luther King in my opinion is one of these few leaders. Martin Luther King’s addition to history has put him in a special position that is not easy to replicate in today’s world. Martin Luther King always preached in opposition to hate and anger and was often quoted saying, â€Å"There is another way†¦ as modern as Gandhi saying through Thoreau, that ‘non‑cooperation with evil is as much a moral obligation as is cooperation with good.’† (Forbes.com, 2014) Throughout the life of Martin Luther king he read writings from Ghandi and quoted his messages that were applicable to the given situation at the time. Ghandi, a great leader, was one of the many positive influences King had in his life.
